Kids With Courage
Kids With Courage is a program designed to strengthen primary aged children at home, school and with peer relationships.
It provides an opportunity for major change in their thinking, processing of emotions and in their behaviour.
PARTICIPANTS
- Children aged 7-12 years
- Program runs for 7 weeks (Topics cover: Feelings, boundaries, social skills, grief+loss, anger, fear & worry, self esteem)
- Sunday 2-4:15pm
- April 25th to June 6th
- Involving puppetry, drama, role play, processing, games, yummy food.
LEADERS
All facilitators (leaders) have undertaken a ten week course involving processing own life issues, seven weeks of facilitator training and have experience working with children. The all have sound understanding of child protection procedures.
PARENTS INFORMATION NIGHT
Monday 19th April 7:00 to 8:00 pm
Attendance to this evening is a condition of acceptance into this program.
