The Bread Run

Hi, this is a note to introduce you to the Journey Bread Runners. This is a group of 13 people who give their time 2-3 hours every fortnight to collect bread, then bag it, sort it out and deliver to approx 15- 20 families. The Journey Uniting Church has been doing the bread run from Baker's Delight since early April, learning a lot on the way. We are finding it a wonderful way to show people who don't know Christ, that there are people out there willing to help them. If you feel you would like to help in some way with this ministry you can contact the church office. You can help with picking the bread up from Baker's Delight, with the bagging of the bread , or with the delivering of the bread. You can help fortnightly or monthly. A few hours make a big difference. |
